The Earth Is Flat

I would like to coin the term "flat earth mindset." Allow me to explain my definition. Hundreds of years ago, the overwhelming majority of the world population believed the earth was flat. Surprisingly, many scientists, philosophers, and a variety of other people had credible evidence to prove that the earth was indeed spherical, yet their arguments often went unheard. At worst, these people were condemned to death, asylum, or excommunication. At best, they were humiliated and ignored. The ignorant masses "knew" that the earth was flat, and they neither wanted nor cared to hear otherwise. It took hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years for people to accept and sincerely believe that the earth was spherical, NOT flat as had been thought for centuries. Keep this in mind when introducing any concept that goes against conventional "wisdom". People cling to tradition despite contradictory evidence. Never try to convince the masses as a whole. Simply educate those few special people who are looking for a better way, those brave souls who are open to exploring new information and changing their mindset. People with a fixed mindset will drain you. Let them live in a myth, because you will wear yourself out trying to convince them otherwise.
